Upper School

As young men and women enter the Upper School years, they further deepen their relationship with God, teachers, fellow students and the engaging world around them. The curriculum, both challenging and stimulating, is designed to prepare students for college and eternity.

Teachers and students working together are key to creating a school culture that values excellence, hard work, brotherly love and a vision for the future. We understand that learning must be accompanied by strong relationships with mentors that add zeal to intellectual and spiritual curiosity and understanding. Our teachers’ passion to invest in the spiritual and intellectual enlightenment (Eph. 1:18) of each student is at the heart of each teacher.

Our purpose is to promote the Lordship of Christ over all areas of the academic, athletic and artistic endeavors of our students' education. Therefore, we provide a full liberal arts curricular and co-curricular program for all students. ACA offers a rigorous college-bound course of study that meets or exceeds the entrance requirements of colleges and universities nationwide.

While we are an independent, college preparatory academy, we are investing in students’ lives far beyond their college acceptances. We are investing in them for eternity. In doing this, our goal is to produce generations of people who will be able to unleash their faith in all aspects of human endeavor and live out the life that Christ intended for each student (Phil. 3:12).

Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
