Learn why this happens. Learn how to increase their contentment with who they are and how to help them accept and respond well to their challenges.

Raising children in the admonition of the Lord is a difficult job and is only getting more difficult. Come spend an evening receiving encouragement that while it is a hard job, with God nothing is impossible. God has gifted parents with a specific ministry and in community we find strength in Christ to walk in that ministry.

6:30 - 8:00 pm - Seminar with Mrs. Goodson
Topic: "Talk Dirty to Me: When Sexting Turns a Teenager into a Registered Sex Offender"
I want today’s teenagers – your children – to run the race well. This is not legal advice – this is a comprehensive view of extensive research from a heart that believes that the upcoming generations have the power and ability to make significant impacts on today’s culture for the cause of Christ. I want to stand beside you, equip and empower you on how to help your teenagers rise above the pressures of a sex-saturated culture and learn how to avoid the pitfalls of such a society.
One of the main questions I get from parents of teenagers is, “How do I talk to my kids about this issue?” It is my hope that through this session and the resources provided, that you would find helpful information about the dynamics of sexting so that you can have those conversations with ease.
TUesday, February 4, 2020 - Mrs. Michelle Myers
6:45 pm - Parent Fellowship
7:15 - 8:45 pm - Seminar with Mrs. Myers

All Moms are welcome, because all Moms are Working Moms. Come and be refreshed by the words from the One who loves you most. This will be a wonderful evening as Michelle Myers brings you comfort & encouragement from the Word. See you there!
Thursday, April 16, 2020 - Mr. David Eaton w/ Axis
6:00 pm - Parent Fellowship
6:30 - 8:30 pm - Seminar with Mr. Eaton
Topic: “The Most Important Conversation”
How do you successfully parent (and grandparent) Gen-Z in a world that is not only dependent on technology but also has a culture that is consistently working to speak louder and faster to your kids than you can?
Axis will teach, and lead discussion, about the three keys needed to be able to decipher what is happening in culture and technology, understand how it is affecting your kids, and ultimately help you change the conversation that culture is having with your children.
Our goal at Axis is to help you connect to the heart of your teen and preteen. By the end of this training you will not only have access to the tools you need, you will have the assurance that through God's grace, you can create a legacy of faith in your family.
Oh, and you'll also learn about the most important conversation.
